Chess E-Books
Reading chess e-books right now. Much cheaper than buying a book but much harder to read than books. Now currently busy switching openings so bye. Or maybe not...
NAG 2009
Day1
Departure was 2.30p.m. but my father thought it was 3p.m. so i end up taking the 2nd bus. The problem was that the 2nd bus didn't have enough seats and PCA had to call a van. Depart at about 3.40p.m. and reach pearl point at about 9.50p.m. The hotel was quite nice and that day was benjamin's b'day but I can't believe he got a cellphone as a b'day present. For god sake he's just 8 years old.
Day2
Before round1 started, we had to listen to the chief arbiter talk crap for about 30minutes(if u are looking at this no offense). Round 1 finish swiftly but round 2 I suddenly go crazy and sack a rook on a pawn for no reason. Round 3 finish just as round 1 but round 4 I play with Wee Zhao Liang and eventually I lost due to miscalculation. (Note to self both games were lost using black...What The Hell!) Lazy to go cyber cafe that night, so just stay in the hotel and do nothing.....
Final Day
My round 5 opponent was among the weirdest person. He made a move which made me able to checkmate him straight, I let him take back the move I don't mind but instead he captured the piece and move my queen to checkmate himself.SWT... Round 6 Lee Jing Yao either we have something in common or are we just born to play against each other I don't know. He played a stupid variation agaisnt me and resulted in a lost. Actually he wasn't thinking at all, he was hoping to lose as fast as possible and I always hate a person without a fighting spirit in chess. Round 7, Low Jun Jian(aka JJ the Destroyer) walao. After some positional blunders made by Jun Jian I managed to win the game and end up getting 10th placing. Wee...... Depart from KL at 7p.m. and arrive at 11.30p.m. So tired. Oh! and by the way congratz to Evan on getting champ in NAG
